Charlie
Date of birth - 8th June 2022
It's about time we introduced our beautiful Charlie, known to her friends as Charlie Bear (Pedigree name call sign Charlie, when you know you know!). Daughter to Rio & Lincoln (so carries liver from Rio and her grandparents, g grandparents), Grand Daughter of Breigha & Vincent, Great Granddaughter of Echo & Murdoch, we see lots of traits from the previous generations. Charlie isn't quite as tall as a couple of our girls but she has the most lovely head and beautiful soft expression and is exceptionally strong and agile, a real rocket, she has her fathers endless energy coupled with her mums gentle nature, as she gets older she gets steadier and steadier and reminds me very much of Breigha. She also has the ability to make herself seemingly 4 times heavier than she actually is when she climbs onto you for a fuss, she is impossible to move easily, a talent passed down through all her female ancestors from Echo. She's biddable, very food orientated (helps with almost everything I find!) and eager to please even if keeping all her flatcoat in can be a challenge for her sometimes. She's clever too, while the others are searching for the ball in the hunt the ball game, Charlie is following the tracks Justin made when he was hiding the balls! The recent addition of Scarlett's puppy Jasmine to the pack has given Charlie a lovely new playmate and they wrestle for hours, She's very, very patient. It seems she and I have an agreement, if I open a bag of crisps she magically appears and waits patiently for me to pay the crisp tax, I did it once and now according to her it's tradition, who am I to argue! Her first litter was, 11 puppies so shades of her Granny and Great Granny there. She was an excellent mother, calm, gentle and kind of tough, one of the don't come crying to me unless your legs falling off kind of mums. All in all Charlie is a fantastic next generation addition to our pack and great fun to have around.
